KA-B30B B-Mount Hot-Swap Plate

The KA-B30B B-Mount Hot-Swap Plate is designed to keep professional cinema cameras powered while batteries are being changed. With a built-in 32Wh backup battery, the plate temporarily takes over power delivery when the main B-mount battery is removed—so you can swap batteries without shutting down your camera.
120-Second Hot-Swap Protection
An integrated LCD countdown display shows the remaining hot-swap time. Once the B-mount battery is removed, the timer starts counting down from 120 seconds.
Simply mount a new battery before the countdown reaches zero. The new battery then recharges the internal cells, and after a short period, the display returns to 120 seconds for the next battery change.
The built-in cells are engineered to maintain at least 120 seconds of backup power at a 200W load, even after 500 charge cycles, providing dependable performance for demanding production environments.
32Wh Capacity | 28V Regulated Output | 200W Continuous Load
The KA-B30B integrates 32Wh of internal battery capacity and supports a continuous high load of up to 200W, making it suitable for professional cinema cameras and camera-top accessories.
It accepts 22–33.6V B-mount batteries and delivers the battery's available voltage to the camera during normal operation. When the external B-mount battery is removed, the internal cells automatically provide a regulated 28V output, keeping the camera powered during the battery swap.
