Under supervision, develop hardware designs involving board-level circuits design, microprocessors, field-programmable gate arrays (FPGA), gate arrays, back-end activities, and networking interfaces; adapt and modify design and engineering options, including completing functional analyses, analyzing potential user input, and evaluating similar and related products and systems; verify system-level performance, including developing test plans for field validations by customers, building simulations, performing diagnostic procedures, analyzing test data, and identifying, isolating, and resolving design problems; collaborate with related design, marketing and sales teams to determine specifications and potential issues; organize projects by identifying short-term and long-range issues; prepare timetables, cost estimates, and required resources; prepare engineering reports by collecting and summarizing data and trends.
Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related engineering field.
