Complete EFP Application:

SWIT Fiber Camera System offers a complete EFP solution via Camera Adaptor E-4020 and the CCU E-1040P. 
The supported transmission includes:

• Camera SDI to CCU
• Switcher returned SDI to cameras
• Full duplex intercom between cameras and CCU
• TALLY signal from CCU to cameras
• Camera remote control at CCU
• Power distribution from CCU to cameras

 

Lemo / Neutrik Connector:

E-4020 communicates with CCU E-1040P via Lemo 3K.93C cable or Neutrik NO2-4FDW-A cable for optional. 
In this system, the Lemo/Neutrik optical fiber cable offers Max 20km transmission distance without power supply, and 300m transmission distance with 55W power distribution from CCU to camera (independent channels), by connecting with Power Station E-2010P. 
You can also directly insert LC pure optical fiber cables into Neutrik connector to achieve all communications except power supply.
 

Remote Control Input:

Connect camera remote port to camera adaptor E-4020, and connect remote controller to CCU, so that you can control all the cameras in the system at CCU end. 
The RCU input port of E-4020 is 10-pin standard (default for Panasonic), and the package provides a 10-pin to 8-pin conversion cable to fit Sony camera remote port.
 

Return SDI and TALLY output:

In the system, when E-1040P CCU is connected to Switcher and input return SDI and TALLY signal, all the camera adaptors in the system will receive return SDI and TALLY. 
E-4020S provides a TALLY light that can display TALLY directly. By connecting with SWIT S-1071F(EFP) on-camera LCD monitor, E-4020 can output return SDI and TALLY to the monitor, and the return SDI can be Pic-in-Pic displayed over the local SDI video at S-1071F(EFP). 
The system provides a return SDI button to be fixed on tripod handle, and press the button will popup the PIP return SDI window, and release the button, the window disappears. 
 

Intercom Control Panel:

E-4020 supports Full duplex intercom with CCU in the system. A headset is provided in the package, and cameramen can adjust volume on the E-4020. 

The status LED indicates the CCU operations during the intercom: 

Status A	on	Bi-directional intercom with CCU
Status B	on
Status A	off	CCU's Mic is turned off
Status B	on
Status A	on	Camera adaptor's Mic is turned off by CCU
Status B	off

 

Return SDI and TALLY output:

In the system, when E-1040P CCU is connected to Switcher and input return SDI and TALLY signal, all the camera adaptors in the system will receive return SDI and TALLY. 
E-4020S provides a TALLY light that can display TALLY directly. By connecting with SWIT S-1071F(EFP) on-camera LCD monitor, E-4020 can output return SDI and TALLY to the monitor, and the return SDI can be Pic-in-Pic displayed over the local SDI video at S-1071F(EFP).
