The most innovative feature for BM-U monitors is the "Auto Color Calibration" function.

We know even if the monitor is well calibrated in factory, the monitor LED backlight will shift the color temperature after a period of time, and makes the monitor inaccurate. So, in professional broadcast studio, the HD monitors request re-calibration every 6 months.

But for 4K monitors, because of the wider color gamut and the high bright LED shifts more frequently, 4K monitors need re-calibration every 1-2 months.

The traditional 3DLUT calibration need computer with calibration software, need expensive color analyzer, generate LUT and upload LUT, complex configurations and maybe only professional technicians can handle it.

While SWIT innovative "Auto Calibration" has 3DLUT calibration software built into the monitor. So you don't need to connect a computer, buy calibration software. And the BM-U monitors also built-in color probe driver for JETI Specbos 1211 and X-rite i1 (OEM version), so that you can directly connect the color probes to USB port of BM-U monitors, and then operate monitor menu to start auto calibration. The monitor generate colors, and the probes read the color and directly feedback to monitor by USB. Then The monitor generates 3DLUT internally, and finish calibration by itself.

The Auto calibration is optimized according to the particular LCD panels we use, so it's extremely accurate.

Calibration result: Delta E less than 1.0.
